The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said Sunday the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup has been deferred to 2022.
The declaration has left fans anticipating an India-Pakistan conflict disillusioned.
“PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani advised the BoG on issue identifying with the International Cricket Council just as the current year’s ICC T20 World Cup and the ACC Asia Cup, which has now been deferred to 2022,” an assertion from the PCB said.
A year ago, the 2020 release of the Asia Cup was deferred due to Covid, and the ACC (Asian Cricket Council) took a gander at a window in June 2021 to have the competition.
Following PCB’s proposal to trade facilitating rights with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the competition was booked to be played in Sri Lanka, with four subcontinent sides, alongside Afghanistan and an Asian qualifier.
